Free Daily Hospital Meals
At Sirat Al-Mustaqim Welfare Foundation (SAMWF), we believe that no one should go hungry, especially those already facing hardships due to illness or poverty. The Mehman-e-Khuda Project was launched with this belief in mind to support vulnerable individuals by providing daily free meals at Civil Hospital Sargodha—one of the busiest public hospitals in the region. Every day, SAMWF distributes freshly prepared food boxes, such as chana chawal, to patients and their attendants who often travel from distant areas and cannot afford meals while receiving treatment.
This initiative helps reduce the financial burden on families dealing with medical expenses, supports patient recovery by ensuring they have something fresh to eat, and upholds the dignity of every person served. By offering meals with kindness and respect, the project also strengthens a sense of compassion and community. Looking forward, SAMWF plans to expand the Mehman-e-Khuda Project to other underserved districts of Pakistan by establishing a network of community kitchens that continue to provide daily meals in hospitals, disaster-affected regions, and impoverished areas.
